Behind the Crow
I’m Josh, the maker behind Caged Crow Fabrication.
Since 2012, I’ve made a living building things a little outside the ordinary. Over the years, Caged Crow became known for designing and building one-of-a-kind mobile businesses and custom projects for clients across the country.
These days, my work has shifted towards functional art - pieces built with purpose, but with enough character to stand on their own. I only accept a limited number of commissioned projects on a case-by-case basis, leaving room to create original work and follow the ideas that keep this whole thing interesting.
Home is the Northwoods of Wisconsin, where I live with my wife and our two kids. The woods up here have found their way into a lot of what I create. When I’m not in the shop, I’m usually outside with my family or wandering around with a camera, chasing wildlife and whatever else catches my eye.
